New Sculpture in the Works

This piece has come together to form a very interesting shape and sequence.

This piece is about time and my attempts to understand and show it as a series of sequencial relationships. I find time to be extremely enigmatic. I wonder about how each of us experience time and all of the posibilities that might arrise from the difference of those experiences.
Move to North Carolina

Mary Anne and I are in North Carolina again, only this time we are in Boone rather than Charlotte. Mary Anne accepted the position as Curator at the Turchin Center for Visual Art on the Appalachian State University campus. Boone is a truly beautiful small college town nestled deep in the mountains surrounded by tall trees and running rivers. I have leased a building in a little community called Cove Creek which I am currently converting over to my new shop space. The business will be called Cove Creek Woodworks.
In Case of Emergency

What would you do in case of an emergency? How did you find yourself in this predicament and how do you react? What do you reach for? Do you have time to think or is it strictly impulse? These are a few of the questions I attempt to answer in my most recent series, "In Case of Emergency". This work is available to be viewed at Zane Bennett Contemporary Art as well as on this web-site. Please don't hesitate to view and offer comments.
